Privacy Policy

sovraVox is part of the sovraSpace platform. Your account, profile, and data are shared between sovraVox and sovraSpace. This means:

• An account created on sovraVox also works on sovraSpace and vice versa.
• Your vox (videos), reactions, comments, and favorites are stored in the same database.
• Profile information (name, handle, avatar, district) is shared across both platforms.

Account information: Email address, phone number (optional), name, date of birth, congressional district, and authentication credentials.

Content: Videos you upload, comments, reactions, reposts, and favorites.

Usage data: Screen time per section, watch history (retained for 30 days), and interaction patterns.

Device information: We do not collect device fingerprints. We use standard cookies for authentication only.

• To provide and maintain the sovraVox service.
• To enforce screen time limits and parental controls.
• To filter content by your congressional district.
• To send notifications you've opted into (reactions, comments, follows).
• To detect and prevent abuse, spam, and content policy violations.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Period.

Your data is stored securely via Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies. Videos are stored via Cloudflare Stream. All connections use HTTPS with strict transport security.

• Access: You can view all your data in Settings.
• Deletion: You can delete your account at any time. This removes your profile, content, and all associated data.
• Portability: You can request a copy of your data through Settings.

We take extra precautions for users ages 13-17. Parental oversight is required. Minor profiles are more restricted by default, and screen time limits are lower.
